当今物流市场竞争尤为激烈,所以货运代理的客户资源显得特别珍贵,但是我们大多数货代同胞在无意间已经把自己的客户让给了别人,本人作为锦程物流网国际站 www.jctrans.net 澳洲市场的负责人与大家一同分享一下我的经验。
在长期与我们网站上澳洲会员打交道的同时,本人了解到澳洲的物流体系与其他国家的物流体系有些不同,例如在美国你不需要将你的货代提单向有关政府部门验证。但是在澳洲,所有的中小型货代公司均可在澳洲使用自己的货运提单。
在2005年的10月12日,澳洲海关修改了原先的货物申报/清关系统,修改后的系统在澳洲称为CMR系统,中文简称商品货物进出口流程管理系统。
在CMR系统的规定下,商品货物在抵澳之前需向澳洲海关提前申报。申报内容其中包括商品货物抵达首个澳洲港口的日期,发货客户,终端客户的资料,商品明细,体积,重量等。
请注意,如果你是使用船公司直接代理你的整柜海运出口业务,船公司将会拥有和了解到你所有的商业详细信息。而如果你通过当地澳洲货代为你做代理的话,船公司除了知道澳洲当地货运公司为你的代理外,将不会得到你的任何信息。
我建议你使用你自己的货运提单来防止船公司取得你公司的商业信息。举个例子,如果你使用海运主提单来直接出口整柜集装箱至澳洲终端客户,船公司可通过主提单的内容得知当地发货客户、澳洲终端客户、商品货物明细、商品物流周期以及年货运运输量等商业信息,当然更重要的是船公司知道他们所提供给你的海运整柜价格,而船公司所辖下的物流部门可以在你完全不知情的情况下,获取了你的货物资源。当然你们也都知道,目前所有的船公司均设有他们自己的物流部门,而大部分船公司也是通过这种手段来获取他们的客户。而大部分货运代理在完全不知情的情况下已经失去了客户。
现今社会信息资源就是金钱,就是决定你将来成败的关键因素之一。请广大货代同胞一定要保护好你公司宝贵而且保密的资源。

On October 12th 2005 Australian Customs changed the procedure for cargo reporting and clearance into Australia. This is known as CMR….which stands for Cargo Management Reengineering.
Under CMR rules, cargo must be reported to Customs prior to arrival in Australia…I have attached a copy of the reporting time-lines in advance of arrival that cargo must be reported.
The CMR guide provides the dates in advance of shipments landing at the first port in Australia that we have to advise Customs of the details of the shipper and all shipment details down to the ultimate consignee.. Please be aware that if your Agents currently handle FCL business into Australia, and have the Line release on their behalf, then the Line also have all of this information. If the shipment is released via CTFreight(澳洲第三大货运代理), then all the Line knows is that there was a shipment from your Agent to the CTFreight.
I would always recommend that your Agents use House B/L's where possible to protect their business from direct approach by the Lines.........as you can see from the above...if you leave on direct Ocean B/L's, then the Lines have all of the information……...shipper, consignee, commodity, frequency/volume of shipments, and of course, they know the rate they have given to your Agent...so their Logistics Division could take this business from them without their knowledge. As you would be aware, almost every Line from China now has their own Logistics Division…so it is only a matter of time in my opinion, before they approach the shipper or the consignee directly…and the first your Agent knows about it is when they no longer have the business….

For LCL, the rates vary between wholesale and retail….but more importantly, are affected by the co-loader that is used. If their rates are high, then our rates are correspondingly high.
FYI..Australia is not like the USA…so you do not need to have House B/L’s approved by any Government organisation as they do in America for FMCA….so even the smallest Forwarder in China can use their own House B/L’s
